A BRIEF HISTORY OF
THE BEAUFORT PLAYERS DRAMA GROUP

    The Beaufort Players Drama Group is a highly successful and respected amateur dramatic group, founded in 1962 and based in the Hall behind the Church of the Ascension in Beaufort Road [just off Hanger Lane], Ealing W5 (click here for map) within easy reach of North Ealing (Piccadilly Line) and Hanger Lane (Central Line) underground stations and on the 83 & 112 bus routes.

    Over the years, we have staged a wide variety of plays in the Ascension Hall, ranging from pantomime, comedy and farce to thrillers, dramas and historical productions (see Play History) and have won numerous awards.

    In April 2009, our production of 'The Titfield Thunderbolt 'received a nomination for the

    National Operatic & Dramatic Asscociation
    London Division
    Pat Redhead Drama Award.

  • 'Goose Joose ' by member Russell Gillman in June 2009

  • 'Daisy Pulls It Off ' in July 2009

          'Once Upon A Witch ' by member Alan Robinson in November 2009

The Beaufort Players are affiliated to the
National Operatic and Dramatic Association (NODA)
and are members of Ealing Arts + Leisure
